The Garden

One More Room of the House

Dubai gardens are usually built by a different company from the house, and it shows at the threshold. Ours are drawn with the rooms – stone that continues the floor, water where the evening sits, planting chosen for the climate rather than the brochure, shade engineered like joinery. On the villa whose garden made this a service, the landscape was the final trade on site and the first thing you now see from the door.

The Work

Proof, Not Promises

One garden carries this page – deliberately. It was stripped, rebuilt and planted as part of one contract with the house it belongs to, and it is the standard we hold the next one to.

A garden that must be maintained into looking new was drawn wrong; ours are drawn to grow in.

The Programme

How It Runs

A garden runs on levels, water and patience. It is set out like a room, built like a floor, and finished by the one trade that keeps working after handover – the planting.

Frames marked “· study” are visual studies, shown while the projects' photography is prepared. The rooms they stand for are real – each opens the project it belongs to.

  1. 01Survey and levels – where the water wants to go
  2. 02The drawing – with the house, not after it
  3. 03Utilities and irrigation – approved and run first
  4. 04Hardscape and water – stone, shade, the bones
  5. 05Planting and lighting – the room furnished
  6. 06The season after – we come back
Questions

Answered Plainly

Do you build the garden as part of a villa renovation?

Yes – that is exactly how this service was born. One contract carries the house and the garden, one setting-out line runs through both, and the threshold stops looking like two companies met there.

What actually survives a Dubai summer?

Less than the brochures say. We plant species that hold through August with sensible irrigation, and we put shade – engineered, not decorative – where people will actually sit. The garden is designed for July, not for the photograph in December.

Are water features worth it?

Small and engineered, yes – water where the evening sits, moving enough to stay clean. Anything bigger is a maintenance contract disguised as a feature, and we will say so.

Do you take garden-only projects?

When the garden is a room-scale build – hardscape, shade, water, planting as one work – yes. For planting alone, a good nursery will serve you better, and we will point you to one.
